It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mom and Baba, Alice Elizabeth Wysocki on July 4, 2022, at the age of 97 years. She was surrounded by family when she peacefully took her last breath.

Alice was a devoted teacher for 32 years with the majority of her career in the Derwent, Alberta community.

She loved baking and cooking and frequently hosted family gatherings. She also had a green thumb and was an avid gardener. In her youth, Alice loved to curl and more recently, it was difficult to gain her attention if curling was on TV. Alice was always an active member of the communities she lived in.

Alice will forever remain in the hearts of her daughters, Cheryl and Audrey (Mike); and her grandchildren, Noel (Angel), Jeffrey and Amanda. She is now reunited with her soul mate, Steve.

Funeral Service Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment at 4 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Parish Cemetery, Derwent Farms

A special thank-you to the doctors and staff at Sturgeon Community Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of Alice.

The family gratefully declines floral tributes and requests that donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
