It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Amedeo Perri on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the age of 90 years.

Amedeo is survived by his loving wife, Carmela; his daughters, Diane (Tony) Nigro and Claudia (Frank) Scanga; grandchildren, Kristen (Frank), Jessica (Michael), Stephanie (Kyle), Jenna and Anthony; and great-grandchildren, Elena, Emma, Willa and Henry. He will also be missed by his extended relatives and friends.

Amedeo loved to garden, tell stories, play practical jokes and make wine “grandpa juice” but above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He put everyone else ahead of himself and will be missed for his selfless and kind ways.

Friends and family may pay their respects Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. At Amedeo’s request, a private service will be held. Amedeo cherished all of his friends and the company they shared with him, he wanted to thank all of you for the support and love you gave him.

Amedeo was a generous individual who donated to many charities and causes. In the same spirit he embodied, we encourage you to donate to a charity of your choice in his memory.
