Andrew "Andy"  McFadden
Andrew “Andy” Arthur McFadden passed away January 4, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Evelyn Mayes; daughter, Leylene Mayes; sister, Kathy (Ray) Wenger; nephew, Corey (Carolyn) Wenger; aunt, Stella Berry; many Berry and Newell cousins; and Miller, Chaney, and Lyon in-laws.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew (Bud) and Margaret McFadden; sister, Carolyn McFadden; and nephew, Scott Wenger.

Andy was born November 2,1949 and grew up on Wolfe Island in Lake Ontario.

He moved to Alberta in 1975 and worked various construction jobs until he began working for Health Canada. In this job he and his team constructed and maintained the health centers on First Nations throughout Alberta.

Andy retired in 2014 and returned to construction by re-building Leylene’s bathroom, kitchen, and basement. Afterwards he enjoyed a variety of activities such as golfing, skiing, building his MGB, camping, travelling, and dining with Ev, friends and family.

Andy will be missed by family, friends, co-workers, neighbours and all who spent time with him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
