It is with profound sadness that the family of Annette Angele Chyzowski announce her peaceful passing on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 89 years. She was born July 25, 1933, in Edmonton, AB to Arthur and Edna St. Pierre.

Annette was predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald Chyzowski; and four siblings, Edward, Rita, Florence, and Therese.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her six children, Gerry (Kathy), Kerry (Bruce), Darrel (Belinda), Cheryl (Bert), James (Connie), and Sandra (John); grandchildren, Madison, Landis, Megan, Brandy, Jaclyn, Sheamus, Chelsea, Jo-Anna, Nicholas, Kye, Kirstyn, and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Adelina, Ethan, Brielle, Violet, Theo, and Astrid; brother, Richard; as well as extended relatives and friends.

Annette will forever be remembered for her unconditional love for her children, devotion to her husband, and the resilience and strength to face life’s challenges. She enjoyed crafting, sports, music, cooking, and dancing; but most of all, gathering with her children and finding any excuse to be together.

Annette spent the last three years being cared for at the Citadel Care Centre in St. Albert, where the residents and staff were compassionate, warm, caring, and respectful. Her time there was undeniably special. We are grateful to have had our personal angel on earth, Jenna, be our voice, our touch, and our love when we were unable to be there. During Annette’s final hours, the staff not only embraced her needs but showed immense compassion and care to our whole family. They allowed us to gather and send our mother on her journey the only way she would have wanted it – together and surrounded with love and peace.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
