Antonio Innocente  Frattin
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, nonno and bisnonno, Antonio Innocente Frattin, on December 14, 2022.

Survived by his five children, Gilberto (Valerie), Liliana (John) Bencic, Romeo (Celia), Renato (Rosa), Rosaly (Frank – predeceased) DeVenz; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bruna, Palmira, Rita, Renza, Mario, Elio, Sebastian and their spouses; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends near and far. Predeceased by his loving wife, Aurora; parents, Arturo and Marcellina; sisters, Teresa and Lina; and brother, Mario at the age of 2.

Antonio was born on December 27, 1932, in Castelfranco Veneto. He married the love of his life, Aurora Tedesco on June 26, 1956, Asolo, Italy. In 1956, they left Italy to start a new life together and moved to Edmonton, Alberta. In 1960, Antonio and Aurora founded the Italian Bakery, which grew and expanded over the years. Antonio was a hardworking man who was determined to fulfill his dreams of creating a better life for his family. His strength and determination made him a pillar, not only within his family, but also within the Italian Community. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Prayers will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 8 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Roy Antony, CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
