On March 4, 2023, Mr. Barry Thomas McIntyre of Lac Ste. Anne County, AB, formerly of Sundre, AB, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 70 years.

Barry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanell; children, Fred (Adelle) McIntyre, Crystel Hornberger, Heather (Eric) Belanger, Lacey (Quentin) Chadd, Sam (Vicki) Pringle; grandchildren, Tyson, Brook-Lyne, Erica, Jordyn, Gabriel, Calix, Cameron, Emily, Luke, Daxton, Hunter, Tucker and Wilder; great-grandchild, Elias; brothers, Danny (Karen), Joe, Gord and Randy (Karole); sisters, Judy (Gord), Linda (Dave), Donna (Bob) and Geneve (Bill); and many more loved ones and friends.

Barry was predeceased by his first wife, Lynda; parents, Patrick and Mary; in-laws, Fred and Ruth Wellard, Carollyne Schroder and Dave Reiser; brothers, Archie and Patrick; and sisters, Anne and Nelsie.

Thank you to the Associated Ambulance EMT’s, Mayerthorpe Emergency Services and the Mayerthorpe RCMP responders for the compassion, respect and kindness shown to Barry and the family.

A Celebration of Barry’s Life will be held in the spring. Details to follow. Barry will be laid to rest in a private ceremony, in Cosmo Cemetery.
