Our hearts are shattered to announce the passing of Benjamin Bruce Stelter on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 6.

Ben was an absolute joy and the brightest light in this world. His love knew no bounds and his giggle and smile lit up the world. He was an absolute warrior during his fight and is a true hero.

He will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Mike and Lea; siblings, Dylan and Emmy; grandparents, Susan Stelter, Ron Lawrence (Maria Peréz) and Darlene Madden (Gord Miskiw); uncles and aunties, Janae (Justin) Oostenbrink, Danielle Ribich and Jesse Tebb; cousins, Jayden, Jessie, Novak and Piper. He was predeceased by his grandpa, Bruce Stelter; and uncle, Niksha Ribich.

The family would like to thank his loving doctor and amazing nurses and team at the Stollery Children’s Hospital for caring for Ben with such love.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Hope City Church, 2225 - 66 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. Ben's Celebration of Life will be livestreamed by Hope City Church, at hopecity.ca/stream.
