It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Daniel Stanislaw Puzio on October 5th, 2022 at the age of 28 years.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Aneta Hejnar-Puzio and Will Puzio; his sister, Victoria Puzio; his grandmothers, Helena Puzio and Marianna Hejnar, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Mike Puzio and Stanislaw Hejnar.

Daniel was born on October 5th, 1994, in Calgary, Alberta. Daniel was a remarkably intelligent person, who always showed interest in a variety of things. He loved history, sports, and politics. Daniel was a student of life. In his spare time, he loved to downhill ski in the mountains, and go on long nature walks as he always felt a connection to the nature around him. Daniel adored his family and friends, and always made a point to spend quality time with them. Daniel had an exceptional gift, where he was always able to reach people in a deep and positive way. He would put those around him before himself and possessed profound care and compassion for them. Daniel acted as a rock to many people in his life, and his legacy will live on, as he will be cherished and loved for eternity.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Monday, October 17 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Prayers will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 18 at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 11485 - 106 Street, with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
