Obituary for Daniela Lavinia "Dana" Roman

Daniela Lavinia "Dana" Roman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniela "Dana" Lavinia Roman on December 15, 2022 at the age of 51 years.

Dana is celebrated by her two sons, Emanuel Andrei Roman and Teodor Nicolas Roman; her mother, Angelica Nantu; brother, Gabriel Nastasa; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives back in Romania.

Dana was born on September 19, 1971 in Bacau, Romania. She lived the early stages of her life in Romania, completing her education as a mechanical engineer until she departed for Canada in August of 2008 to give her boys a better life and more opportunities.

She worked at IRCC for many years where she has fostered many friendships and touched people's hearts everywhere she went.

Her favorite moments were spent cooking in the kitchen surrounded by her family. Dana had a loving and caring nature that will never be forgotten.

Prayers Thursday, December 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Those who are unable to attend may view a livestream by selecting "webcasting" from the menu on this page.
