Elizabeth Eileen  Klass
November 23, 1923 – January 5, 2023

Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Beaverhill Pioneer Lodge in Lamont on January 5, 2023, at the age of 99.

Elizabeth was born in the family farmhouse in the small hamlet of Haight, Alberta. She married William Klass in 1943 and had one daughter and two sons. They moved to Edmonton where Elizabeth began working at the University of Alberta hospital until her retirement.

She had a passion for traveling. Her lifelong activities were reading, crafts, going to bingo’s, doing puzzles and playing cards. She treasured her family and was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Pat; daughters-in-law, Carol and Heather; seven loving grandchildren, Michael (Cheryl), Melanie (Cory), Scott (Gabrielle), Stacey (Chris), Jody (Gerald), Monica and Trina (Todd); 14 treasured great-grandchildren, Darian (Jack), Tanner, Kai, Parker, Meredith, Rhett, Vance, Erika, Jaden, Anastasia, Nicholas, Marie, Myelle and Cambrie; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, William; two sons, Dennis and Richard; parents, Michael and Anastasia; six brothers and one sister.

Thank you to the staff of the Beaverhill Pioneer Lodge in Lamont, Natalia Malica and her family, and all her friends for making her stay a joyful experience.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Haight.
