Obituary for George Lukawenko

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of George Lukawenko on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the age of 96 years.

George will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Helen; daughter, Susan (Darrell); brother, Victor; and sisters, Olga Grant and Elizabeth Zukiwsky. He was predeceased by his daughter, Gail.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank-you to George’s biggest supporters, Cid (and her furry sidekick, Daisy), Tina and Dave Cramp. Their compassion and friendship to George will never be forgotten.

A private family service will be held. Donations in George’s name may be made to the McClure United Church and/or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
