Geraldine Marcia "Geri" Knutson
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Marcia “Geri” Knutson on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Geri was kind, humble, easygoing and fiercely loved her family and friends.

She will forever remain in the hearts of her daughter, Donna; sister, Lois (Gerry); grandkitties, Hobbs and Newbie; bestfriends, Rosemary Ledrew and Jim Holland; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Geri was predeceased by her husband, Chester (Chuck); son, Rodney “Rod”; parents, Edgar and Emily; stepmother, Marie; sister, Elsie; and stillborn brother.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Unit 5D4 at the University of Alberta Hospital and Norwood Palliative Care for their care and compassion shown to Geri.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, officiated by Jim Holland. Cremation has taken place.
