It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mamma, nonna and bisnonna, Giustina Lonero on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the age of 93 years.

Giustina will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nicola, Maria (Generoso) and Patrizia; grandchildren, Sara (Jordan), Jacqueline (Domenico), Giovanni (Bianca), Kristina, Anthony and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Daniella, Andrea, Matteo, Milena and Giada; brother, Guerino Mantello of Thunderbay, ON; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Ettore; parents, Michele and Maria; four brothers and seven sisters; and son-in-law, Alexandre Carvalho.

The family would like to thank the homecare staff of CBI Health for their care and compassion.

Family and friends may pay their respects Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Prayers will take place Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 8 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Ave NW, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
