Obituary for Heidi Renae Zayachkowski

Heidi Renae Zayachkowski
February 20, 1979 - July 21, 2022

The world has lost an absolute gem of a woman. Her grace, wit, and impeccable style left an impression on everyone she met. She had the gift of making everything more beautiful, whether it was her garden, a simple item of clothing, an exquisite dessert, or a close friendship. Always up for an adventure, and with a permanent twinkle in her eye, she was a fabulous co-conspirator and confidant to her friends. She leaves behind a trail of broken hearts, perhaps the biggest being her constant companion, her precious dog Cash, a source of unwavering comfort in her many difficult moments with cancer.

Heidi is survived by parents, Berna and Isaac; sister, Kyla; niece, Georgia; nephew, Harrison; as well as numerous family members and friends.

She was an architectural technologist by training, and quickly became a highly valued team member anywhere she worked. She loved the challenge of tackling a sourdough recipe, attracting various birds to her yard, or finding the perfect musical event to share with her closest friends.

She is treasured. She is missed.
