It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet Puhalskie on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Leduc Community Hospital.

Janet is lovingly remembered by her husband, Stan; daughter, Trina (Russ) Neibel; sister, Joyce Fediuk; brother, Raymond (Margaret) Yakimitz; and her loving friends, Carol Francis and Carol Reid. Predeceased by her daughter, Tamela Rankin-Richard (Daniel Richard); and parents, John and Olga Yakimitz.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Leduc Community hospital for their compassionate and loving care that Janet was given.

May Janet rest in peace and be with us always in our hearts and prayers.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Very Reverend Mihajlo Planchak officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
