Condolence: Nancy Crann and the Family - I write to express the condolences of all Patricia's on the passing of Jay Crann. His fine decade of service with the First Battalion prepared him well no doubt for his additional years with the military engineers. The Regiment remembers Jay's service, and you and your family are obviously proud of that service. His name will be read in this year’s list of the lost when we read that out on November 11th, 2022 in the Sacred Space in Beechwood, the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. His name will also be listed in the 2022 edition of the Patrician’s Last Post section, published in March 2023. Thank you Nancy for obviously supporting Jay throughout his latter service and retirement. We hope that all your 20 years together were full of life and love. Thank you. Brigadier-General Vince Kennedy (Retired) Colonel of the Regiment Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry

Condolence: To Nancy and Jay's extended family my sincere condolences on Jay's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Jay at 4 Wing Construction Engineering in Cold Lake and he was always the gentleman. His smile brightened the day on more than one or two occasions. Condolence: Condolences from all members of the Edmonton Branch of the PPCLI Association. Once A Patricia Always A Patricia. Jason was one of my soldiers and a fellow Newfoundlander of which both of us were proud to say. I am so glad that I got to spend a few hours with him towards the end. He was great to see and hear his laugh, one of a kind. We told stories of our time in TOW and the First and Finest 1 PPCLI. At the doing down of the sun and in the morning we will remember him. Jason may you RIP. VP
