On Saturday, October 29, 2022, Laura Guimaraes of Edmonton passed away at the age 90 years. She is survived by her one son and one daughter, Jose (Zita) and Rose (Joe) Ricardo, both of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Sarah and Ashley; and sister, Maria. Predeceased by husband, Antonio; and sister, Rosa.

Prayers will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 12311 - 55 Street, Edmonton with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
