Obituary for Leona June Jason (née Warshawski)
June 7, 1933 – January 27, 2023
On Friday, January 27, 2023, Leona June Jason of Edmonton peacefully passed away at the age of 89 years, with her family at her side.
Leona will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Jason of Edmonton; daughter, Cathy (John) Gregory of Sherwood Park; grandchildren, Jason (Kim), Colton (Lauren) and Jaymie; sister, Jeannette (Bill) Towey and family of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Patricia Jason and family of Massachusetts.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Charles (2020); and her parents, Victor and Tillie Warshawski.
Leona enjoyed sudoku and jigsaw puzzles, being at the cabin, going to ball games with her husband, Charlie and spending time at their vacation home in California with her grandchildren visiting often.
