September 28, 1944 – August 21, 2022

It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we share the news that our dear husband, father and grandfather, Louie Kovacs, has passed away at the age of 77 years. His battle with dementia/alzheimer’s has finally come to end and in that we find some solace.

Louie is lovingly remembered by wife, Elizabeth; son, Dennis (Cherisse); daughters, Andrea (Rob) and Angela (Serge); grandchildren, Anthony, Logan, Kyle, Jozsua and Thomas; sister, Ilona (Frank); and many more cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Louie was born September 28, 1944, in Hungary where he grew up. He immigrated to Canada in 1966, where he worked as a boilermaker for his entire career. He enjoyed fishing and traveling the world with his wife, Elizabeth. Louie and Elizabeth would have been married 49 years on September 15, 2022.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Emeric Roman Catholic Church, 12960 - 112 Street NW, Edmonton followed by interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
