It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luigi Manucci on Friday, July 22, 2022, in Edmonton. Luigi was born in 1938 in Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Giovanna (née Tagliamonte); daughter, Ilena (Andrea) Caprini; sons, Simone (Lisa), Massimo (Laura), Cristian (Jordan); grandchildren, Luca, Stefano, Samuele, Sofia, Luigi, Massimiliano, Giorgio and Vittorio; as well as many friends and extended family.

Luigi was predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Filomena; and brothers, Vittorio and Pietro.

The family greatly appreciates all who have reached out to them during this difficult time. A special thank you to Dr. Ataher Mohamed for his care and compassion.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a Memorial Mass Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue, Edmonton followed by entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail.
