1930 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maddalena “Lenuccia” Mastronardi on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Edmonton. Maddalena was born in 1930 in Fontesambuco, a small farming village in Italy.

Maddalena was predeceased by her husband, Mario; a stillborn son; her parents, Angelo and Pasqualina Orlando; her sister, Annina of Italy; brothers, Tobio of Italy, and Raffaele and Giovanni of Edmonton.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Silvana (Reg) Lucas; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends and extended family.

The family greatly appreciates all who have reached out to them during this difficult time. They also wish to thank the staff at 4E in the Misericordia Hospital and the McQueen Place Lodge for their care and compassion.

Friends and Family are invited to pay their respects Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Prayers will take place Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 8 p.m. at Park Memorial. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton.
