It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Maria D’Angelo on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Maria is survived by her children, Maurizio, Adriano (Juanita) and Dean (Bridget); grandchildren, Austin, Danielle, James, Elian and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Kylie; siblings, Aurora (Nino), Maria (Giuseppe), Sam (Angela), Ben and Filippo (Anna); sister-in-law, Bruna; brother-in-law, Angelo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Umberto; parents, Sofia and Marco; siblings, Joe, Rosa and Antonietta (Antonio); and sister-in-law, Nella.

Thank you to all the caregivers, hospital staff and family who cared for our beautiful mother in her final months. We are also grateful to all family and friends who stopped in many times to visit with Maria.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton.
