1938 – 2022

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts the family of Maria “Mary” Federkiewicz announce her passing on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the age of 84 years. She was born in Poland in 1938 and immigrated to Canada in 1969.

Mary will be deeply missed by her husband, Miroslaw “Miron”; daughter, Kasia “Kathy"; sister-in-law, Eva Kurth (Armin); as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends in Canada and Poland.

Her greatest joy was her family and she leaves behind many treasured memories with family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart and always thinking of others before herself.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 13131 – 86 Street, Edmonton with interment to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
