Condolence: I worked with Mary at CSS. We were good friends, but had fallen out of touch recently. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. I helped Mary in court when she applied for and obtained guardianship of her granddaughter, she was so proud and happy! Many years ago, she and Golda from CSS helped me to celebrate a major birthday, and it was one of the best nights ever!! Mary was a wise and beautiful person who made the world a better place. I can still hear her laughing. I am so, so sorry for your loss, and for the world's loss of her. Sending prayers for strength and peace to everyone.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear that Mary passed. I worked with Mary at Catholic Social Services for many years, and greatly appreciated her passion for helping others, her humour and her friendship. It was an honour to work alongside her, and witness her dedication to her values, beliefs and culture. There are many at CSS who are sad today, upon hearing that Mary passed. Tonight, I shall make a tobacco offering and smudge in her remembrance and for the health and wellness of her family. A great lady has left us, but she has impacted the world, made it a better place and her legacy will remain.
