Mary McGuigan passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and love on June 18, 2022, at the age of 95 years.

Mary was born in Derry, Northern Ireland. She met Pat in 1948, married on June 12, 1951, and started their family with five children. Pat immigrated to Canada in 1957, eventually settling in Edmonton. Mary remained home until she followed in 1959 with five kids in tow. They later rounded out their family with three more children.

Mary loved spending time with family and friends. She especially cherished her many trips back to Ireland.

Mary is survived by her husband of 71 years, Pat; children, Cath (Dave), Hugh (Anna), Marie, Liam (Francine), Kevin (Nadine) and Eileen (Chris); son-in-law, Gerry; 21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Patrick; daughter, Margaret; and son-in-law, Pete. Mary was a strong woman and will never be forgotten.
