1933 – 2023

On February 4, 2023, Mary Ryl of Edmonton passed away surrounded by family at the age of 89 years.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Leona Romaniuk, Evelyn (Dale) Ehrman, Ken (Maggie) Ryl, Kathy (Garry) Ryl, and Monica (Daniel) Doblanko; her grandchildren, Kerry (Nirmal), Debra (Steve), Chris (Brittany), Chad (Courtney), Jodi (Garrett), James (Kayle), Steven (Shiloh), and Andrew (Mikala); and great-grandchildren, Dante, Rylan, Darshan, Kaitlyn, Parker, Anna, Josh, and Zena. Predeceased by her loving husband, Fred Ryl; daughter, Millie; son-in-law, Tony Romaniuk; four sisters and four brothers, Stella (Walter) Mikulin, Ann (Maurice) Brazell, Susie (Mike) Kramer, Jean (Bill) Radkewich, Nick Bereziuk, Mike Bereziuk, Alex Bereziuk, and Bill Bereziuk.

Our sincere thanks to the staff at the Good Samaritan Care Centre in Stony Plain for their compassion and care of Mom.

Prayers Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Divine Liturgy Friday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 – 153 Avenue with interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
