On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, Mary Schmidt passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 91 years.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary, Theresa, Geralyn, Jane, Sandra and Delores; and five grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tony; sister, Nadia; and one brother.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Venta Care, particularly Chloe, and the doctors for their compassion and care shown to Mary.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 11828 – 85 Street, Edmonton. Reverend Glenn McDonald, CSB officiating with interment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
