Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear today of Melvin's passing. I enjoyed exchanging letters with Melvin these last many years. He was sweet, sunny, and kind. Melvin helped me appreciate my family, garden, and Ukrainian traditions with his questions about my kids, how my garden was doing, and what I was cooking for holiday meals. I will miss the ritual and love of those letters. I am sad I hadn't been able to see him for a long time - my trips to Edmonton and Smoky Lake have been too rare.
