Condolence From: Judy Lederer
Condolence: I have known Merle for many years, most recently as a member of the Edmonton Area Council of the Congress of Union Retirees of Canada. We have missed Merle at our meetings and events. He was always the first to show up. And would volunteer to help out in any way he could - showing up to rallies in his scooter and helping out at our table displays. My condolences to Merle's family. Rest in power, Merle.

Condolence: I was very sad to hear about Merle’s passing. I worked on many sign campaigns with Merle - he taught me a lot about running a good sign campaign as we worked on campaigns for my dad. I put that knowledge to work on my own campaigns, generally pretty successfully. I remember Merle as having a great sense of humour, and an intense drive to get folks to get out and vote for the people and issues he supported. I will remember him fondly.
