September 8, 1931 – September 7, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Nick Kurylo of Delph, Alberta announce his sudden passing on September 7, 2022, five hours short of his 91st birthday. Nick passed away peacefully in his home.

Nick is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Grace; one daughter, Beverly; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Nick) Taylor and Zoey Shaw; two great-granddaughters, Kali and Violette Taylor; three sisters, Nancy Procyk of Delph, Olga (Joe) Stadola of Lamont, and Anne Pruss of Edmonton; one brother, Bill (Stella) Kurylo of Lamont; sisters-in-law, Olga, Helen and Pauline Kurylo; brother-in-law, John Melnyk; numerous nieces and nephews; Grace’s family, Lawrence and Amy Tychkowsky, as well as Pat Reed and Delores Cossey. Nick will also be lovingly remembered by his friends and the Delph community.

Predeceased by parents, John and Elizabeth; brothers, Mike, John and Jacob; and his sister, Lena.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Park Memorial Lamont, 5208 - 50 Avenue, Lamont, Alberta. Divine Liturgy Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Delph, Alberta. Basilian Fathers officiating with interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
