It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Olena Wirstiuk of Edmonton on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the age of 94 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandsons, Yaroslav Skrypnyk and Will (Olha) Skrypnyk, as well as her great-grandchild, Olivia. Olena was predeceased by her husband, Wasyl; daughter, Lucy; and her eight younger siblings.

Prayers will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 7 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Rite Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. Archpriest Cornell Zubritsky officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral.
