Olga "Ola"  Nebozuk (née Schebywlok)
On October 9, 2022, Mrs. Olga (Ola) Nebozuk (née Schebywlok) of Edmonton passed away at the age of 86 years.

Olga is survived by her loving husband, Bohdan; sons, Orest, Adrian, and Andrew; daughters, Oksana Zinger and Christine Dowhaniuk; grandsons, Daniel, Mark, and Andrew Dowhaniuk; as well as relatives in Ukraine, Austria, England, USA and Canada. Predeceased by her mother, Iwanna, 1973; brother, Roman, 1980; and father, Michael, 1995.

Earlier years, Olga taught at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral RIDNA SHKOLA and SADOCHOK. She was involved with the Edmonton Catholic Schools Ukrainian Bilingual Program and received a Government of Alberta award for her many years of work from Alberta Minister of Education, The Honourable Julian Koziak. She adored children and lived her life always wanting to give some form of assistance. She was also an involved member of other organizations.

Thank you to her physician, Dr. Michael Fiorino, for his insight and advice; Home Care for their weekly assistance. A special thank you from the immediate family to Andrew Nebozuk for his devoted assisted care to our mother in her final years of life.

Divine Liturgy Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street. Cathedral Clergy officiating with interment at St. Michael's Cemetery. Masking will be required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral or to Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Seminary, 12909 – 113 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5M 2W8.
