March 2, 1932, to July 7, 2022

It is with much love but deep sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Olga “Ollie” Schulz of Edmonton, Alberta on July 7, 2022, at the age of 90 years.

Ollie lived most of her life in Edmonton and worked in the Edmonton area in a variety of jobs, always interesting, until her retirement. Ollie was passionate about life, family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life and she cherished every visit, phone call, and photo from them. Ollie loved to entertain family and friends and could be found planning get togethers at every opportunity. There was never such a thing as a stranger to her because chances were, they would become a lifelong friend at the first meeting. Ollie was known for championing the underdog and was a loyal friend to so many. Her love and generosity to those in her circle was unlimited and she never refused a request for help.

Ollie Schulz is lovingly remembered by daughters, Evangeline “Vangie” (Bruce) and Valerie; son, Gordon (Liz); six much loved grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Alison (Tayo), Kaia, and Xander; Ryan; Curtis (Dallas); Lana (Brandon), Ryder, Sage, and Olivia; Whitney, Maxx, and Emmett; Amy (James), Avery, and Charlotte. She will also be remembered by her brother, Alec (Patricia); special friend, Alex; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Ollie was predeceased by her son, David; brother, Metro; spouse, Georg; and parents, Domka and George Cherweniuk.

Ollie’s life will be celebrated July 18, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
