On August 25, 2022, Mrs. Rita Teresa Marie Kaplan of Edmonton, formerly of St. Lina, passed away at the age of 64 years.

Rita is survived by her husband, John Kaplan; two sons, Christopher (Ashley) Kaplan of St. Albert and Jeffrey Kaplan of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Jade and Archer Kaplan of St. Albert; brother, Ron (Pauline) Vallee of Sylvan Lake; and sister, Mariette (Ken) Kelley of Edmonton. Predeceased by her father, Ernest; mother, Lillian; seven half-brothers; and one half-sister.

Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday, September 1 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Funeral Service Friday, September 2 at 11 a.m. at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 9034 – 95 Avenue.
