Obituary for Robert Edward Dudzic

Robert Edward Dudzic
May 15, 1988 – August 1, 2022

The greatest gift God gives you is a child. It’s the happiest time in your life…but when God calls them back early, it’s the most devastating pain you could experience.

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend, Robbie. He will be greatly missed by his surviving parents, Rick and Janice Dudzic; brother, Jason; sister-in-law, Whitney; nephews, Lachlan and Aldus; niece, Ava; grandmother, Lil Baker; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his fiancé and soulmate, Kirstin Rockwell; grandparents, Maria and Antoni Dudzic and William Baker; and aunties, Halina Dudzic and Christine Bochon.

Robbie grew up in Edmonton, graduated from Austin O’Brien and studied geotechnology at NAIT. Robbie had a warm and loving heart. He was loyal, extremely talented and very smart. He was a simple man and easy to please. He wasn’t one for small talk but enjoyed deep conversations about life. One of the dreams he had was to live on an acreage. A couple years after he had met Kirstin, they moved to a place not far from Redwater. They loved being close to nature and loved animals, especially their dogs – first Floki then Kilo- there was no looking back. Robbie had many great ideas, dreams and ambitions – just too short of a life to realize them.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter or a charity of your choice. Thank-you.
