It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rosa Caruso, our loving mother, wife and grandmother on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the age of 89 years. In her final moments Rosa was surrounded by her adoring daughter and son, Franca and Pasquale.

Rosa will be lovingly remembered by her children, Franca (Frank) and Pasquale; grandchildren, Anthony (Juliana) Carrozza and Rosa (Evan) Boyle; sisters-in-law, Maria Durante, Teresa Durante and Debbie Durante; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her spouse, Francesco Caruso; sister, Maria Amelio; brothers, Aldo Durante, Nicola Durante, Tony Durante and Giuseppe Durante; niece and nephew, Sam Amelio and Kristina Durante; and parents, Salvatore and Nicolina Durante.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Gumed Safana and Dr. Naidu. They also wish to thank the palliative staff of Capital Care Norwood for their compassion and care.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Prayers will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 8 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
