August 28, 1988 – May 9, 2023

Sammy passed away suddenly and peacefully in Lethbridge, AB on Monday, May 9, 2023, at the age of 34 years. He was born in Edmonton, AB at the Royal Alexandra Hospital to Evan Northpagan and Diane Wood on August 28, 1988.

Sammy grew up in Edmonton, where he completed high school. Sammy loved to travel around Alberta, including Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge and surrounding areas.

Sammy’s dreams and goals in life were to become an accomplished artist and designer. He enjoyed writing, drawing and crafts. He was a very excellent artist. Sammy shared his passion for his craft and gifts through teaching others and would do anything for anyone.
Sammy was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched. He was giving, caring and selfless.

Sammy is survived by his father, Evan Northpagan; brothers, Warren, Matthew, Dexter and Jerimiah; and his nephew and niece. He will also be missed by numerous uncles, aunties and cousins.

Sammy was greeted in Heaven by his loving mother, Diane Wood; grandfathers, Harvey Wood and Martin Rinmorin; grandmothers, Amelia Wood, Violet Jackson and Elise Cardinal; uncle, Roland Wood; niece, Lotaya; and his forever and always companion, Travis Fair.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
