On Sunday, October 2, 2022, Tommaso Minervini of Edmonton passed away surrounded by family, at the age of 84 years.

Tommaso is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rosetta; two daughters, Virginia (Luc) Lefebvre and Elmira (Rob); son, Vittorio (Lee-Ann); ten grandchildren, Matthew, David, James, Rylee, Jade, Lindsay, Mackenzie, Gina, Juliana and Tommaso; four sisters, Rosa (Domenico) Benincasa, Antonietta (Giuseppe) Astorino, Lina (Francesco) Gariano, Pina (Francesco) Rotella; sisters-in-law, Maria Marelli, Mirella, Rosetta and Maria Guercio; as well numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Vittorio and Virginia; infant brother; sister, Maria; brother, Francesco; brother-in-law, Tommaso Curcio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Erminia and Pasquale; and brothers-in-law, Vincenzo, Gennaro, Domenico and Giuseppe.

A special thank-you to Tommaso’s home caregivers, Nelina, Aster, Julia and Abigail. The family also wishes to thank the AHS palliative team, Pod C.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
