Valerie Ann  Crane
November 21, 1956 – June 22, 2022

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Valerie Ann Crane on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the age of 65 years.

Valerie is survived by her loving husband, Keith; mother, Myrtle (Johnson); daughter, Delilah; son-in-law, Terris; son, Jimmy; grandchildren, Krystine, Kyle, Shaykoda, Shayna and TJ “Granny Boots”; grand-dog, Atticus; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Karmin, Athena and Cameron; brothers, Carmen, Ricki (Fern) and Warren; sisters, Trudy (Sarah) and Sharlene; aunties, Minnie (Terri) and Pauline; uncle, Dougie; nieces, Carrie, Roxanne, Deveryl, Desiree, Katie, Emily, Stormy, Tiara, Robyn, Rachel, Dedre, Natasha, Naomi, Sky, Tyra, Tearrah, Ezra, Anna Lee, Vicki, Kimmy and Tory; nephews, Rory, Jake, Tyrone, Ricki Jr., Joey, Jamie “Bushie”, DJ, Andy, Brent, Cole, Riley, Jarvis, Kenny, Warren, Micheal, Javon, Jude, Levi, James, Delbert, Rayce, and Ashton. Valerie will also be missed by all of her brother’s and sister’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Roman, Trenton, Tyson, Elisha, Ethan, Kylee, Roland, Roselyn, Kashius, T'Asia, Tashina, Tahlia, Melchis, Micha, Meya, Comrie, Jayden, Ava Honey Bee, Hunter, Kaylee, Chloe, Robert, Elisa, Solaya, Nathaniel, Sasha, Lawrence, Lashante, Orlando, Kenny Jr. Kendra, Chasien, Justin, Gracie, Elijah, Isaiah, Seneca, Sonny, Cameron, Carter, Lilly , Liam, Matteo, Paisley, Bronx, Ceanna, Benny, Verse, Ruel, Zemira, Amelia Azariah and Azrele.

Valerie joins her father, Delbert; great-grandparents, Joe and Nora Crane and Joe and Philomene Moise; daughter, Lisa Marie; and grandsons, Cameron and Collin; sisters, Rhonda, Beverly, Laureen “PeeNee”, Carol, Cheryl “Jap” and Vicky; brother, Vincent and Brian; grandnieces and grandnephews, Keyana, Karissa, Warren, Denny, Steven, Micheal, Ernest, Solaya, Perry and Rachel in the spirit world.

The Young, Mah and Crane families would like to extend their gratitude to the Keeseekoose First Nation, Chief Lee Ketchemonia, council and staff; Shannon Brass, the Meechance family, the Machiskinic family, Wally Arcand, Myrna O'Soup, Angie Silva, Angie James, the Amiskwaciy Academy, Park Memorial Funeral Home, and to all who have reached out in thoughts, words, and deeds as we lay Valerie to rest.

Funeral Service Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
