It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Valerie Geddes announces her sudden and unexpected passing at the age of 56 years.

She will be forever missed by her loving husband, Rick Eashappie; daughter, Jenna (Andy Humphreys) son, Ricky (Trina Mischuk); granddaughters, Aaliyah, Lyra Sky; fur baby, Lucky; brothers, Henry (Liz), Glen, Steve Fredrick, Dennis (Vivian); and sister, Caroline.

She joins her parents Rachel and Fred; brother, Eugene; sisters, Brenda, and Pauline; son, Dustin, and fur babies Koko and Teddy.

Valerie was loved by all and will greatly be missed by all. Our mother was the most kind, funny humble generous, who dearly loved her family and friends. She loved to go camping with her kids and grandchildren, make good food and laugh. She had such goof friends and will be forever remembered.

The family is eternally grateful to all who have reached out to them during this difficult time.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday January 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton.

A Celebration of Life to follow the service at Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, 10821 – 96 Street.
