Condolence: Much love, sympathy, and condolences to Ruth, her two sons, Casey and Marc; two grandchildren, Gabby and Lucas; and extended family on the death of Wayne. My brother John and I have such fond memories of Wayne and Ruth as we shared classes at St. Agnes School in the Allendale area of Edmonton. Then we all proceeded to St. Mary’s High School. Thank you, Wayne, for being such a kind, gentle, and humorous presence in our lives. You will be missed - sadly you left us all too soon.

Condolence: Ruth and Family, I have so many lovely memories of working with Wayne and the whole School Business Admin team at Alberta Education. Wayne was a true gentleman and had a wonderful spirit that made him so easy to chat with. He had an "interesting" sense of humour too. I'll never forget when we had a "slave for a day" auction to make proceeds for United Way. This photo attached is one of my favourites of the day. You can clearly see that Wayne was truly enjoying the day and really got into the spirit of it. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Auntie Ruth, Casey, Crystal and Marc

Our love and strength are with you during this very difficult time. No words can express our sadness of hearing of Uncle Wayne's passing. I will forever remember the memories made of times when I was younger visiting Edmonton and in the past years spending time with you in Vancouver.

May the memories that you shared live on forever in your hearts.

Love Kim & Alym

I’m Free
by Shannon Lee Moseley

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God has chosen for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call;
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way;
I’ve found now peace at the end of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss;
Oh yes, these things, I too will l miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
look for the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much;
good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems all too brief;
don’t lengthen your time with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and peace to thee,
God wanted me now – He set me free.
