William Oviatt peacefully passed away on the morning of April 5, 2023.

William is survived by his loving wife, Marietta Faye Lenz Oviatt; children, Lorie (Kevin Bland), Troy, Bradley, Katherine, Jordan, and Carmen (Troy Bevan); 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Richards; sister in-law, Colleen Folsom; and brothers, Sheldon (Twylla), Jack (Karen), Barry (Pat) and Randy (Jan) Oviatt.

He was predeceased by his son, Kimberly Darren Oviatt; daughter in-law, Leslie Oviatt; granddaughter, Katelin Bevan; great-grandson, Adam Langill; parents, Lester Leland Oviatt and Florence Elizabeth Connolly Oviatt; brothers, Lester, Parley and Michael Oviatt; and brother in-law, Dick Richards.

William will be remembered for his dedication to family and church, his hunting adventures, and the homestead that he built for his grandchildren. He was loved by many and his influence spans generations.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Edmonton North Stake Centre, 17416 – 115 Street, Edmonton, T5X 0A3.
