God bless you all!

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, dear relatives and friends,

Today, we are here to hold a Christian funeral for Mrs. Lee's Zhou Biyao. You can take time out of your busy schedules to bid farewell to Mrs. Lee. We express our deep gratitude: Thank you! God bless you all! At 6:55 a.m. on June 18, 2020, Mrs. Li, who devoted her life to education, passed the 103 years of her life as a devout Christian and came to an end. Peacefully and peacefully resting in the arms of the Lord, leaving behind the heartbroken son and three daughters and their families.

Mrs. Li, Zhou Biyao were originally from China, Jiangsu Province, Zhenjiang Prefecture, Danyang County. She was born in an official family on April 8, 1919. Her father, Zhou Jingzhen, had participated in the Northern Expedition and was the artillery regiment commander of the 19th Route Army. Her mother, Shi Yinchang, was a loving and intellectual woman. She has nine brothers and sisters, she is the fourth, kind, steady, and caring person. Her parents dote on her very much and become the apple of her hand, but she is never arrogant. She is close and friendly with her brothers and sisters, and is friendly with her relatives and friends. She often cares for and helps poor relatives and families under the guidance of her parents. life of servants. Her father once sighed and said: The fourth is kind-hearted and will be the poorest among the brothers and sisters. Facts have proved that under the careful cultivation of parents, all brothers and sisters are promising. They are not university professors, doctors, lawyers, engineers or senior government officials. Only the fourth one, Mrs. Li, is keen to devote herself to civilian education. She is willing to be ordinary and dedicated.

Mrs. Li was admitted to a Christian mission school since she was a child, Guangzhou, Dongshan, Peizheng, and Peidao schools are
She grows knowledge, cultivates morality and sentiment, and creates her alma mater. Mrs. Li's knowledge of the Lord was deeper and more devout. She is determined to be an angelic figure who will spread love to the world.

During the fall of China and the Anti-Japanese War, the top three famous universities: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Nankai University moved to the rear of Kunming University and merged into the "Southwest Associated University". Mrs. Li was admitted to the Southwest Associated University with the 123rd place. Not only did she study hard, she also actively participated in various national salvation movements, took to the streets to protest against Japanese imperialist aggression, distributed leaflets, publicized the principles of resisting Japan and saving the country, awakening the consciousness of the people, and so on. She also often helps her classmates who are in difficulty with the materials that her parents have worked so hard to entrust, while she lives a hard life like everyone else. Her generosity and generosity of heart have won the respect and support of her classmates. She is the leader of the community. She often leads alumni to help the education of out-of-school children around the school, build schools and run classes, advocate culture to save the country, and contribute to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.

After graduating from university, she returned to her parents' home and participated in the founding of Guangzhou Changfeng Middle School. Changfeng Middle School is a group of enthusiastic Southwest Associated University alumni, scholars, overseas Chinese and local gentry and people with lofty ideals who love education after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.

It is said that, with the special support of celebrity Li Fulin (Li Dengtong), the school site was sold to the land for one silver dollar. Changfeng Middle School Houlei and Huangpu Middle School merged into "Guangzhou No. 6 Middle School". Become one of the famous first-level provincial middle schools, Mrs. Li also knows it with a smile in the spirit of heaven.

After the founding of New China, with the encouragement and support of her parents, Mrs. Li and her brothers and sisters went to build a new China together. She first returned to her former school, Pei Dao Girls' High School (also the alma mater of her sisters), where she served as the dean and taught history and geography. Because of her deep love for her alma mater and her educational career, her rigorous work style and rich teaching philosophy have been well received by school district leaders and school teachers and students. She was the youngest dean at the time and the school's key training target. It didn't take long for her to be sent to the city's cadre training class. After graduation, she gave up her high-level salary in Peidao and responded to the party's call to go to the place where the motherland needed it most to develop education, and she was sent to Guangzhou. In Henan (Haizhu District), three schools for children of shuiren families were established, which changed the difficulty that children of shuiren families could not go to school. While running the school, she often did everything she could to help the families of students in need. Later, in 2015, when Mrs. Li returned to China to visit relatives, one of the sponsored students (he was the education director of Haizhu District) came to visit

When she recalled the deeds of her school running back then, everyone knew that she dedicated herself in such obscurity, but she never mentioned her past helping others to people. She often educates the children: don't forget to repay the kindness, and hope to repay the kindness. Later, she participated in the establishment of Ji Lidao Primary School in Haizhu District, and received the highest honor teaching award from the Guangzhou Education Bureau.

Before and after the beginning of the Cultural Revolution, Mrs. Li was implicated by her husband's political problems and was sent to the rural primary school, Beishan School, to preside over the administration for more than ten years. She also helps the local government to publicize the party's policies and measures, carry out literacy activities, etc... She cares about the lives of the local people and devoted herself to the education of the next generation for more than ten years. She has won the respect, trust and love of the local people. The vegetables she usually eats (and the fruits are often given by the parents of the students). She also often helps the local people solve their difficulties and problems in life. She is a free spiritual consultant for everyone. Therefore, during the Cultural Revolution, she was attacked many times, and she was spared because of the protection of the local government and the people. The people of Beishan are also benefactors and friends of Mrs. Li. The teachers and colleagues of Beishan School overcome difficulties and cultivate batches of outstanding talents for the society under the leadership of Principal Li Zhou. Mrs. Li, like her husband, is an educator, and the world is full of peaches and plums.

There is such a famous saying in the Bible, "I have seen that God causes the world to labor and trains them in it. Create all things, make each beautiful in time, and place eternal life in the hearts of the world.” Mrs. Li was nurtured by the Lord since she was a child. She is strong, optimistic, tolerant, and fraternal. She is like-minded and harmonious with her husband. In 1997, they immigrated. She went to Canada, Toronto, where she led her husband into the church to serve the Lord. They often participated in church activities, praising the Lord's grace, and preaching the Lord's grace.

In 2009, they moved to Edmonton again with their youngest daughter and attended the Lord's Day service of the Paul Mission at Gospel Church. Mrs. Li loves to copy verses, chapters, and famous sentences from the Bible over and over again to give to her children and friends to publicize the Lord's divine will in the Bible and spread the gospel.

Although she lives in Canada, she is still very concerned about the development and reform of the motherland, and she often says she wants to go back and have a look. Even after she moved into the nursing home, she still often asked her younger daughter to bring some books to learn Chinese by reading pictures and lend them to the staff in the home to study. She loves the motherland, and spends her life advocating and inheriting the Chinese national culture, and fighting for the education of children all her life. She created the most beautiful exclamation mark for her life. She is a role model for us to learn from, and we respect and love you, Mrs. Lee's Zhou Biyao.

The Bible says: "Today, you won't see me anymore, and after a while, you will see me again." Today, it is not the end of Mrs. Lee's Zhou Biyao's life, but a new beginning. The train goes to heaven, and she will return to her parents and some siblings who left earlier, as well as her husband, Mr. Li Fangzhuo. Today, and especially today, she is able to sleep in the Lord's bosom in the midst of our devout prayers and praise, under the guidance of Christ. Let us, as the close relatives and friends who saw her off, as well as the brothers and sisters in the Lord, feel that God is everywhere and omnipotent. Deep thanks! Mrs. Lee is well on the way! Your voice, face, smile and noble quality will always live in our hearts, let us recall a kind soul with infinite gratitude and eternal miss. As a Christian, at this moment, you have been called by the Lord to return to the kingdom of heaven, and you will live forever!

Finally, thanks again to the brothers and sisters of the Gospel Church in Christ! Thank you to all relatives and friends for saying goodbye to Mrs. Lee Zhou Biyao. Thank you to the staff at Park Memorial, especially Mrs. Leung for their help. Thank you! Lord Long, Amen!

Funeral Service Monday, June 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton with cremation to follow.
