Susan Alexis
On May 9, 2017, Susan Alexis of the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation passed away at the age of 84 years.
Susan is survived by her sons, Ronnie, Darwin (Stephanie) and Kenneth (April); daughter, Serena; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Fred, sisters, Ida (Henry), Florence and Diane; and many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon; sons, Raymond and Calvin; parents, Peter and Alice; brothers, Charlie, Benjamin and David; and sisters, Doreen and Julia.
Wake Friday, May 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Darwin Alexis’ Home, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, AB.
Funeral Mass Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, AB. Reverend Les Kwiatkowski OMI officiating with interment in Alexis Cemetery.
