Condolences

Condolence From: Carrie Gurba
Condolence: Dear Aunty Lillian and family,
It was with great sadness that I heard about Uncle Bill passing. He was always kind, gentle and wore the biggest smile. He let us younger nieces and nephews play in the hay bales and I remember always stopping at Uncle Bill and Aunty Lillian's on the way home from the farm, with food and singing to follow. Special times. May the love and memories bring you peace and may Uncle Bill rest easy now. Sending you all my deepest condolences and love.

Condolence From: BRIAN BRODA
Condolence: Dearest Lillian and all my Gurba cousins,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Bill. My deepest condolences. My father (Robert Broda) and my grandmother, (and Bill's Auntie) Frances Bezborodka shared with me many wonderful stories of Bill. Dad would regale me with stories of visiting Lucas and Pearl's farm and always playing with Bill, as he was the closest in age to my dad. My Baba told me many times that Bill was a "spitting image" of her father, Anton, of whom a picture does not exist. Every time she saw Bill, she said she immediately thought of her father, who passed in 1927. So for me, every time I would see Bill, I saw Anton, a patriarch of our family here in Canada and the little boy who would get into mischief with my dad on the farm!
Much love,
Brian
