August 3, 1930 – January 3, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Emily Strocki of Edmonton at the age of 92 years.

Mourning her loss is her daughter Linda (Dwayne) Meadows; son Randy (Shirley); grandsons Kristopher, Steven (Christine) Meadows and Brandon Strocki; great-grandchildren Bennett and Camden Meadows. Emily was predeceased by her husband Nick in 2010.

Emily was born near Portage La Prairie, Manitoba. She married Nick in 1949 and they moved several times with CN Rail before settling in Edmonton.

Emily and Nick were long-time members of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, where they had made many fond memories and new friendships.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at the Allen Gray Lodge and Westview Health Centre for the exceptional care, compassion and comfort mom received during her stay.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
