It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ernie Daniel Zaozirny of Edmonton on December 31, 2022, at the age of 80 years.

Ernie is survived by his devoted partner, Lorraine; son, Shelby; extended family, Andria, Monica, Stefan, Dave, Derek, Megan, Liem, Erin, Cameron; sister, Olga; and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Dan and Annie; sisters, Elsie and Nadia.

A big thank you to Fort Saskatchewan Home Care and the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 9, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Ukrainian Catholic Church, 9003 - 153 Avenue NW, Edmonton with Reverend Janko Herbut officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
