It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Poshtar (née Nedbaluk). She was born May 28, 1933, in Tawatinaw, AB and peacefully passed at the Sturgeon Hospital in St. Albert on April 16, 2023, at the age of 89 years.

Frances is survived by her son, Daniel (Olita) Poshtar; daughter-in-law, Gail Poshtar; grandsons, Christopher and Stephen Poshtar; and sister, Elizabeth Patrick; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tony Poshtar; son, Ronald Poshtar; parents, Theodora and Nick; and sisters, Helen Gulicka, Villy Grabas and Stella Ferguson; and brothers, Nick James Nedbaluk, Stephen Mike Nedbaluk and Edward Nedbaluk.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
