On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Graciela Lam lost her battle to cancer at the age of 76 years.

Graciela was an adventurist with a loving spirit, full of curiosity and open to new life experiences. She loved to travel and explore different places. Always the life of the party, she had a reputation for pulling people out of their chairs and getting them to dance. If she walked into a silent room, she would always ask, "Where’s the music?" or "Musica maestro."

Graciela was a fierce protector of her family and always put them first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and sharing all of her stories with them. She will be forever remembered and cherished by her love, Bruno; her three children, Allie, Woonson, and Benny; her six grandchildren, as well as her siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, October 20 at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Feel free to drop by anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to pay your respects.

A Celebration of Graciela’s Life will be held on Friday, October 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. We ask that you do not wear black to this service. Instead of mourning her passing, we wish to celebrate Graciela’s amazing life in colour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take the love and gratitude you have for Graciela and share it with others through acts of kindness and grace. Should you wish to do so, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
