It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Helen Rebus on January 7, 2023, at the age of 99 years.

Helen is survived by her children, Sharon of Edmonton, Gary (Mariko) of Victoria and Lawrence (Marie) of Cranbrook; grandchildren, Jason of Sherwood Park, Melanie of Fort St. John and Ben of Castlegar; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Megan, both of Sherwood Park.

She is reunited with her husband, Peter; sons, Jimmy and Ronnie; and parents, Andrew and Mary.

Helen was an extremely hardworking woman and worked throughout her life, well into her 80s. She enjoyed spending time volunteering for various organizations and was a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. More than anything, she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Centre de Santé Saint-Thomas.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 11485 – 106 Street.
